I have been a fan of Total War for a very long time. When I was younger, I simply could not get enough of Rome: Total War. Building an empire, managing cities, commanding armies, and then personally fighting the battles created an experience that very few strategy games could match. That fascination stayed with me, and I have remained a fan of the series ever since.
I believe Total War games are among the best strategy games ever made. They combine grand strategy with enormous real-time battles in a way that remains distinctive even after all these years. More importantly, they are simply fun to play.
