Why I Love BattleTech Advanced
I love BattleTech Advanced because it takes the tactical combat of BattleTech and turns it into a much deeper and larger strategy experience.
There is an enormous amount to learn. Building and customizing BattleMechs, choosing weapons and equipment, developing pilots, managing vehicles and Battle Armor, selecting missions and deciding how to approach each battle can completely change the outcome of a campaign.
BTA goes far beyond the original BattleTech game, expanding the available technology and units while substantially changing combat, movement, skills, the MechBay and many other systems.
That complexity is exactly why I enjoy it. There is always another ‘Mech to experiment with, another build to test and another tactical problem to solve.
