Why I Love Capitalism Plus
I love Capitalism Plus because it approaches strategy differently. Instead of commanding armies, you compete through business, products, markets and money.
You begin with capital and try to build a business empire by watching competitors, entering new markets and using mergers, acquisitions or hostile takeovers. Changing events can also affect the economy and disrupt your plans.
Despite its age, Capitalism Plus remains incredibly enjoyable. My goal is to play its scenarios and gradually build a collection of guides, strategies and gameplay here on Persicus Imperium.
Capitalism Plus Official Manual
You might not know that Capitalism Plus comes with an extensive 174-page manual explaining the game’s systems in considerable detail.
The manual covers starting and managing a business, production, farming, marketing, advertising, product quality, brand strategy, the stock market, corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions, research and development, and many other important mechanics.
We cover some of these subjects in our Capitalism Plus video guides, where you can see the systems being used in practice. However, the manual remains an excellent reference whenever you need a detailed explanation of a particular feature.
